I put the leaf springs back on the rear axle and installed the shackles to the springs and the frame. Everything went well except those retainer pins on the shackles. A couple of them snapped. Are they the same pins for all size trucks? If so, would anyone know where to get em? Thanks alot...

Same size for 1, 1.5, and 2 ton, probably same as 3/4 ton too?

When you get new ones drive them with a hammer and punch, then install lock washer and nut and tighten just a little more than necessary to squish the washer.
Same trick works on kink pin lock bolts.

They seem to be soft enough that they break before pulling home with the nut, so set them with a hammer and punch, don't try to force them with the nut.

I am going to have to go out this weekend and look at my rear shackles. I am curious what this looks like. I am going to have to replace my U-Bolts one day and put in new bushings in the shackles. Didn't someone on the site mention they put new bolts in their AD 2 ton and they were not made to size, they were stock bolts. I found the bolts someone made for my front axle needed some work to get them to fit well.

I bought new front shackle for the front on my 2 ton from Jim Carter and they fit perfect. My rear shackles and bushings looked good so I reused them.
