Good Morning: I am at the point where I found the parts I need out on the east cost, near Boston to be exact. I need to get the parts back to MN but need help with recommendations for a freight outfit that will haul the stuff for a reasonable price. Specifically, it would be the front and rear axles, four wheels, a four cylinder motor and transmission. I have contacted two companies I found at random, but would prefer to hear from somebody who knows the independent trucker who goes out of his way to help guys who work on vintage vehicles. Any contact help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I used Freightquote.com to have a cab shipped. Call and talk to them, you'll get a cheaper quote than with the online form.

The cheapest route would be rail if you're not in a hurry. Check with these guys for pricing: http://www.accessamericatransport.com/rail-services.asp?gclid=CPHzwrCr858CFRDxDAodqhzHYA

I've used R&L Carriers lots of times. The last part was a complete rear diff. strapped to a pallet. I paid $150 from Texas to Upper NY. Can't beat that!! Steve.
