Im putting a 1990 chevy 350 with an original 4speed tranie in my 59 gmc pickup im using a mid 70' bellhouse i wanted to no what years of starter will fit

I assume your keeping your 1990 flywheel? and since it bolts to the engine the tranny should matter. Use the starter for your 1990 engine. unless you want to go more compact?

there are only two ring gears available for the Gen 3 SBC. with that said, there are two major starter types, direct drive and PMGR.
