I'm doing a LS1 / 4L60E swap in my 54 and need a few suggestions. I've done a few LS1 swaps in the past (in other vehicles (73 Toyota Landcruiser,etc..) but I need a few suggestions on headers that fit.

The body is completely off the frame and it has been sand blasted, primed and painted. I have the engine and tranny crossmember installed an mocked up with the new rear end, etc..

It appears that the top of the frame rail must be notched (and reinforced) in order for the exhaust manifold collectors to clear.

Question: What are the best choices for headers in my application ?

I (assume) they would be shorty rear-dump headers for LS1.....IS this correct or are there better options ?

Are there any headers that do NOT require cutting the frame ?
