I attended the Good-Guys Colorado Rod & Custom show this past weekend and ran into an owner that stated that an 84 Chevy truck IFS will bolt on to a 56 Task Force. This was the first I've heard of it. I've read Mustang II and 1970 to 1981 Nova/Camaro front clips with 11" spindles are wonderful. Anyone have experience with installing an 1984 Chevy truck front clip?

Have put several but had to use the van front crossmember for the 55-59, pickup too narrow. Pickup fits 47 to 55 1st with a 1/2+ spacer. On the 55-59 the frame will need to be massaged a bit at the rear of the crossmember for clearence. You can use a rosebud and a BFH or just slit it and move it in so little that you can't even use a filler plate, just weld back together. In either case, wheels with custom backspacing are needed or the tires are out from under the fenders
