Interested in down the road adding a pair of "period correct" fog lights. No need to be NOS or exact replicas, but would want them to be close to right. Has anyone had an experience with a brand/model of lights that are currently being produced to use as a reasonable facisimile. Thanks

A little searching on Google Jon and I turned up this but there are probably a thousand more sites out there where you could find them.

There are 5 & 6 inch fog lights for sale on ebay all the time. Prices vary on condition and how bad the buyer want's them. Finding 6v amber bulbs is getting difficult. There's a seller on ebay with a stock of NOS 6" bulbs. Unity seems to still have the 6" clear driving light bulbs but I didn't see 6" amber fog bulbs on their site. Meby I just didn't look in the right place. grin

Almost every larger truck had amber fog lights in the 50's. They weren't very bright, but roads were narrow and crooked and trucks didn't go very fast. I think almost any 5 or 6 " round fog light would be period correct. Truck dealers, truck stops and local auto parts sold them. I think almost all of them were after market. They are on eBay all the time.
