I am looking for a cover to make my 1957 chevy 3100 short bed waterproof.
i can find covers everywhere for a new truck. does anybody know where i can find a cover to fit my truck?

You might give these guys a call http://www.undercoverinfo.com/ I have one of their covers on my 09 2500 and my wife has one on her 08 Colorado. They may have something for a modern pickup that will fit the 57 box. They have live people in customer service that would probably check the dimensions. Its worth a try to save 2/3 the price. And their quality is excellent.

you know you could take a sheet of aluminum and some 1x1 steel tube build the tubeing into a frame that fits just inside the bed walls then tig it to the aluminum sheet that is just a half inch larger than you bed wall diameter use some hatch back gas struts and build yourself a hard cover if you want it to match the trucks paint just hit it with some self ecthing primer first smile
