At the back of the vlave cover, I have a PCV valve installed. Since I have a PCV valve, could I switch to a standard oil cap that doesn't vent?

Even if the breather cap gets pluged or fouled up, the engine will push oil. on engines with sealed cap there is another hose to the air filter housing to permit fresh air to the crankcase.
