does anyone have pics of a 63-64-or 65 overdrive governor, or possible have the part for sale. im trying to replace a missing one and was told one of these years is what i should be looking for. one of the last years non syncro od transmission made.
i jus wanna make sure im looking for the correct one

Here are some photos of the overdrive transmission. The photo where the guy is drilling and tapping for a drain plug shows the governor. All of the Warner transmissions used in Ford, Chev, or Mopar used basically the same governor. However on some, the driven gear was a little longer than others. http://www.hydratech.com/pctc/Public_Documents/bwrebuild.pdf The bottom picture that shows the transmission from the rear shows the governor on the passenger side.

thats what i origionally thought, but after finding and buying an early non syncro 4 bolt governor.. i found it to not be the correct size. i learned that around 64-65 the governor faced down (fitting issues with the tunnel)was still a cast looking piece with a metal top and smaller threaded portion. now that seems to be what i am looking for
