| | | | Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 38 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Nov 2009 Posts: 38 | Been awhile since I removed the old fuel gauge now its time to install the new one I believe that when looking at the guage when installed in the dash the sending wire was on the left post (E side) and the ignition wire was on the right post (F side)could someone confirm this? Again this is a "54" 3100

If it is a 12v 1954 gauge, the orientation would most likely be as I describe for the 6v gauge.
I bet the gauge you receive will have the sender-post marked with a label.
