I am having some trouble with a third row seat for my 51 suburban.
The bottom supports do not line up with the mounting holes that are on the floor?

Trying to figure out if I have the correct seat or if the mounting brackets on the floor are placed wrong?

Does anybody have pictures of third row seats, 47-54 and 55-59 so I could compare with mine. Also some pictures of the floor area would help too.

I dont want to make anymore holes or modify the seat. Would rather trade with someone who has the wrong seat....if i have the wrong one?

Javier, it's hard to help without pictures. If the mounting frames do not line up, most likely you have a seat from another make. From what has been discussed, the seat mounting frames are the same and they do exchange position with each other.

The seats fit from 1947/1959 GMC/CHEVROLET suburban. The information can be found on this [font:Arial Black]previous topic[/font] There are some measurements that should help you.

Here are some photos of the rear-seat base but no measurements are included.

The color rendition is poor (too red) and some phoos are dark - sorry.

Here are some pix of the third row suburban seat I have.
It looks like the pictures you sent.
The only different thing i see is the side grab handle? that connects top to bottom frames at the sides.
My seat has flat pieces of metal, all other seats I see have a tubuler bar?

Thats what makes me believe its from a 55-59 suburban or other make?

I have one like that too. It's not a suburban seat. I think it might be from a travelall I have never tried to line it up with my floor. I figured I could make it work with a little fabrication.

Your middle seat looks like it's from a 1960/66 Chevrolet suburban.

Those mounting holes look to be in the right place. Perhaps the frame is tweaked a little.

Cletis, does your middle seat look like the one in his first photo? Suburban third row seat/b It's the one in front of the third seat.

Mine has a third row seat in the middle position. It doesn't bolt up right. I think it is from a 60-66 burb.

I do have the correct front row and second seats. As a matter fact I have two sets of front row.

I will take some measurments and see if the floor holes are the same as "cletis's" measurments.
I'll take some pix and post also.

Cletis, I have a driver seat, possibly a second row seat that looks like the picture you posted.
