Simple question that I can't directly find the answer to in the archives: I need to replace my rotted out old engine mounts, you can see the starter pedal jump around quite a bit when you let the clutch out.

So, can I just jack up the back of the engine carefully, unbolt the transmission mount and unbolt and remove the old bell housing mounts? Or is there more to it than that?

Thanks for any insight.

That's all it took on my 38 216. I don't see where there would be a problem as long as you're careful to not over jack it.
