If you can't fix it with a hammer and screwdriver, you need a bigger hammer.1965 Chevy C10 | | | | | Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 1,317 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 1,317 | I've been running the inexpensive Mr. Gasket adjustable fuel pressure regulator on my 235 engine with both the Holley/Weber single and later with the dual Carter/Webers. The Mr. Gasket regulator replaced a faulty Spectre regulator.
Both the H/W and the C/W work well with 3-1/2 psi of fuel pressure.

I did not need (or try) to use a regulator with dual original-equipment Rochesters and had no problems after I adjusted poorly-set float-heights inside the carburetors.
Thanks to a PM from Fla54Chevy3100, a few words above now now spelt correctly - the original words led to a very odd meaning. Thanks, Dave

I had a couple pumps lying around and don't know if this one is correct for this motor. It is pumping fuel but possibly too much. I just don't have the nerve to go outside to test it tonight.
