Someone suggested lifting the cab by the roof. Anyone done this? Indicated from side to side.

I replaced both on my 57 and didn't lift the cab. 1957 Chevrolet 1/2-ton Stepside LB in the Gallery My Photobucket shots The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." - John Stuart Mill (1806 - 1873) | | | | Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 283 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2008 Posts: 283 | What year truck?

Mine is a '58, Fleetside. | | | | Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 443 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 443 | I just left the cab on the frame & did one side at a time. Doing one side at a time lets you make measurements and produce a final product that looks like the factory job. Good luck http://good-times.webshots.com/album/562684536aCrlEt?start=0 | | |
