Looking for recommendations from somebody that has used the Harbor Freight sandblast cabinets. They appear to be identical to the ones at TSC. Anyone know if they work okay? I need to get one soon and don't want to waste money unnecessarily. Thanks for any advice.

I have used one for the last few years and if you take time to seal all the joints it will be seviceable, although I wished I ahd bought a bigger one than the one I have and it is the largest that hf had at the time. I am working on my last big project so it will just have to do the job.., if you can get
them to throw in some extra plastic glass protectors, they are hard to come by, also the light setup in them sucks, I ended up putting 2 halogen in the top so that i could see what i was doing, use in it now are the glass beads, no more black beauty or silica sand, once you get one set up you will use it for most everything I Know I sure do....

I had one, didn't like it. I think it's junk, but I suppose for the money it's ok. My air compressor couldn't keep up with it either. (6hp, 60 gal.) But, my air compressor won't keep up with any sandblaster.

When I bought it, the guy at the register said he'd give me $100 off if I bought a $30 warranty. I assume they make a commission of selling the warranty. So, that's what I did, saved a lot of money. Well, when I took it back, they gave me back full price, with the refund on the warranty, so I was up by at least $100. HAHA. I even had my receipt when I returned it, but they didn't pay any attention to the selling price.
