Hi All,

How difficult would it be to swap a disc brake setup from a 76 Chevy 3/4 van to a 66 Chevy C20?

I've seen topics on using 70s c20 pickup front brakes, but do the Vans use the same parts?

Any input in welcome.

I parted out a '74 G20 van a few years ago. It appeared the front suspension was similar in design to the pickups, just a bit wider.

However, some 20 series vans had 5-lug hubs and some have 8-lug, while your '66 C20 is 8-lug. I'd start by making sure the van has the number of studs you require.

You might be able to swap spindles using newer ball joints. But I don't know the particulars of this swap. HTH!
