I'm not sure where to post my question; I have a rare item I am cosidering ofering for sale but have no real idea what it's worth.
I know the value of some thing is subjective; especially somethng unseen.
I have pics and can provide as many are requested.
I live in The North-West.
I have a very near rust free 1956/59 small window pick-up cab. It is a 58 or 59 model. I will have to check the Serial Number to be sure.
It is stripped of the glove box and door, The people doors are not included, It's been stripped of emblems; speedometer, and doors. Front and rear glass are intact however the windshield is delaminating a little.
There is no rust in all the usual places, the corners inside and out and solid and the lower hinge areas are sound as well. It is a small window cab, the steps are solid but the rockers are a little bent and will need to be reset. Hood hinges are included, no battery box. The fire wall probably has a few small holes that are not original. The parking brake pedal comes with.

Your second sentence says it all. Just because you have something that you haven't seen on every street corner doesn't make it particularly rare or valuable. It sounds like you might have a decent cab. IF you can find somebody wanting it you might get a couple hundred dollars for it but anybody who doesn't really need it will not touch it for that price though. So if you want to sell it, put an ad in the swap meet section and see what happens. If you get no response in a few weeks start lowering the price.

I have seen them on craigslist from $100 - $850. They don't seem to sell fast and the ads finally expire and are reposted again. My guess is that it is worth $250 - $300 without tile and $250 - $600 with title. That is if the market is there when you try and sell it. Shipping costs will be high.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A PRICE IF YOU LIST THIS IN THE SWAP MEET SECTION! THANKS

ditto what George said.

I bought my intact rust free AD cab and front clip from a Fellow Bolter in Denver for $310. had to do a 2500 mile road trip to get it at the time. Checked into shipping would have been about $500 on an LTL

I sold a clean cab, similar condition to a guy a few years ago. It took a while to sell, and I was able to store it for a while before he could get here. I don't remember where he was from, but he took a train to Oregon, bought a pickup, then drove down to me, we loaded it, and he went on his way. I was happy, I only lost $100 on the deal, and I had it out of my way.

It seems to me this is a parts for sale ad worded to look like a question. There have been too many people wanting to buy and one person in particular keeps announcing he has sent a PM. I'm tired of editing this thing so it is locked.
