Does anybody know of a good body shop around the Houston area ,that can put cowl ,and door patch panels in my 46 ?I have the cab off the frame and I am doing most of the mechanical resoration work myself but I dont have the skills to do that kind of body work.There are a million body shops around this area ,but I would like to use someone that does good work,that someone on this site may have used.

I don't know of anyone in the Houston area, but check your yellow pages for Auto Body Restoration. I am sure there are several shops around the area.

Look in the phone book under Good Body Shops, with an A+ rating.
Don't we wish it were that simple.
As you look for one I think you'll find some will not even want to deal with what you have because they are a high volume late model collision shop.
Ask around and when you do find a shop spell out what you want the end result to be and ask how they intend on doing the work so in the end you are not disappointed.
If you get that... Ya,just bring it in,we'll get'r done, without any effort put out to explain what and how they intend on doing what you want.... you might be in the wrong shop!

I'd suggest hitting the local car shows and talking to the car/truck owners and see who did their work. That way you can see the final work product and also get feedback about the shop that did the work. Granted, you're probably going to have to wait until spring.
