It will stop the spread of corrosion and make s a good base/primer for painting down the road. Can get either brush on or spray on types that will do the job.

There is an article somewhere on the site here. Some guys like the Por-15, I have never used it. I can get the Zero Rust locally, but would have to order the Por-15 shipped to Canada.

I also like soaking my parts in molasses for two weeks to get rid of rust. It works! I found an article on this site that tells you all about it. I don't usually get a great price from Lordco, I wonder how much the Por 15 is there?

I know it stops rust in its tracks, and turns it into a hard black substance. I wire-brush the remaining residue to remove loose flakes, and use rattle-can spray undercoater to prevent further rusting if no sheet metal repair is necessary.
