There is a book about swapping EFI motors that you might want to get. I've read it and though I've not yet done a swap, it made me much more confident that I can do the one I have planned.

Before you put down money on that car you need to think through the transmission crossmember. I don't know how you intend to deal with that problem, but a Corvette has a torque arm that extends from the transmission to the differential and does not have a conventional transmission crossmember.
The Corvette manual transmission used before the 6-speed does not have provision for a mount pad. I don't know what that 6-speed looks like, or if it has a pad for a crossmember. I do know most people throw that 6-speed away rather than rebuild it.
