Can anybody tell me what rearend will swap out for the original w/4:11 gear? I want to replace the entire rearend, not just gears. Someone suggested a stock F-150, but I need to know for sure. I would like to use a 3:55~as the little 235 in this truck sure whines at high rpms over about 55mph. Thanks for any help.

Hi Jeff--

You will want to look at this site: Rear End Measurement web page smile Blazer and camaro rear-ends are popular swaps. Most keep rear end ratios at 3.4 or greater. You will want to pay some attention to wheel bolt patterns. You don't say what is on your front but F o r d seems an unlikely candidate to match ur front. Gud luk. wink
