Following info from city hall:

Sealed Bids will be received until 4 PM on Dec 2, 2009. On the outside of envelope you must have your name, phone number and 1974 Chevrolet Fire Truck (item name).

They have a couple of bids already but if I could help someone get the bid in I would be happy to do so.

Two weeks ago I bought a 1970 TM-80 Tilt Cab that is a utility line truck. It has a 30K winch and was used to haul and set utility poles. It even came with the pole trailer. It's powered by the GMC 478 V6 with 5+2. Thanks to Peggy you can see a picture of it in the new gallery list.

Today I got the word that I bought another Tilt Cab, this ones a 1963 Chevy Fire Engine that looks just like the one Dennis is talking about. It has a 427 V8 with 5+2. Hope to get it home in the next few weeks.

What engine/trans set-up does the 1974 Fire Engine have?
