Hey Question Here 62' C-10 235ci looking into an engine swap to a 383 stroke want to know about electrical on what can stay and what has to go i want to upgrade to a altenator electric Water Pump fan fuel pump ect... but the wiring issues with using a altenator has got me wondering is it just a simple swap or more to it???

A generator is going to struggle to service a radiator fan and an electric water pump IMO.

An alternator is simple to wire in if it's a modern internal regulator type. You'll have a maximum of three wires -Battery, field and sensing. Or just the Battery wire if you choose a one wire alternator.
