I have it installed and the engine seems to run fine (at least in the garage). I haven't had a chance to give it a road test yet.
Any comments or suggestions are welcome.

Wrenchbender is spot on. When I installed a pcv in my 41 I just had to lean out the idle mixture a little. Runs great.

I found the Deutsch PCV125 had the lowest drop of only 3" at idle, but still enough suction to excavate the crankcase gases.
You hardly have to adjust your carbs at all with this valve.
Also stays more open at high rpm and cruising.
Vacuum wiper motors work also better.
The pcv valves recommended in the new books seem too tight for the 235.
They lose almost all manifold vacuum already at idle and start shutting off too soon at part throttle. | | |
