I bought two CD players off ebay. They have been ruggedized for marine and off road use.I bought them because the price was right. It did get me to thinking, I've owned C20s for the last 15 years as daily drivers. I've had three new CD players in the trucks, not one has lasted more the two years. I know the C20s ride rougher than the C10s. All comments welcomed.

Have you thought of going over to an MP3 player instead of the CD? I have an MP3 in my truck, it plays through the truck's radio. A 2 Gb player has room for 24 hours of music.

Stuart, haven't paid much attention to MP3, most of my allotted technology time is spent learning Linux.
The moving parts of the CD player, I think were the culprits on a couple of the CDs that went bad. According to the company that worked these Jensens over. They have added isolators on the PCBs. Hopefully they have also worked on the player. If nothing else if the radios continue to work, I can plug an MP3 player into the input. 8)
