The car suspension design changed and while I don't know the details, I'm betting the bearing and spindle sizes on the cars are all different.
Since most people are trying to swap to disk brakes projects based on 60's car stuff aren't too popular or common.
What are you trying to accomplish?

I was hoping the larger drum brakes of the 60's would work, but will get the 54's.

When I made the swap the kit was only about $100 and I paid less than $100 for new rotors. Add calipers and you're still not much money into the project.
I can easily imagine someone having to pay enough for the vintage parts to have paid for the disk conversion.
