The guy who installed my front disks, rebuilt my rear brakes and installed the power booster did something I find odd.

He plumbed the front disks off the single line that CPP marks as LEFT (on the proportioning valve) and the drums off the line marked RIGHT and capped the 1/4" outlet marked REAR. This seems totally wrong because all the lines are 3/16" and two rear 3/16" brake lines are being fed off of a single 3/16" line from the PV as opposed to the two rear 3/16 lines being fed from a 1/4" line.

I would think that a 1/4" line should be run from the PV to a "T" which branches off to two 3/16" lines, one for each rear drum, but not being a mechanic I don't know for sure.

For those of you who have actually installed this set-up how did you plumb your system?

BTW, when I was driving the truck I did not notice anything unusual about how the brakes worked.

You're right - it's wrong. The way it now you are essentially running a single master cylinder - all the brakes fed off one half. Left to left front, right to right front, and rear to rear. Rocket science.

So then I assume I run a 1/4" line from the REAR fitting to a "T" with two 3/16" fittings, one for each rear brake?

My apologies if this seems fundamentally logical but I want to get it correct this time.

Rear brake hose on mine is 1/4" in, two 3/16" out - no separate tee.

Chuck, I looked at your website but couldn't find and photos... do you have one of that hose? Mine is just 3/16 in and one 3/16" out.

The CPP instructions that came with my kit state that you can install both front discs off of one of the two frontend feeds at the proportioning valve and "T" them together. The rears are supposed to be hooked to the rear outlet to utilize both the proportioning valve and the dual master cylinder.

I haven't installed/plumbed it yet.

I'll be paying attention to the brakeline size going to the rears - my only thought is that both rear brakes go through one flexible brake line first, so 3/16 seems appropriate to me, since htey neck down at the flexible line anyways.

Why is the guy doing brake work that he doesn't understand? That is not a good thing.

Actually, I'm in Youngsville which is 25 miles north of Raleigh. Who knows, maybe someday we'll bump into each other... just as long as it's not on the highway.
