I need a 110 volt mig welder and a stud gun, Harbopr Frieght has them cheap; am I wasting my money?

Doug,

I would check the other thread on them for opinions. A lot of folks weighed in on their quality or lack thereof.

I bought one time and returned it. I bought Hobart 140 Mig, a good quality machine

My 2 cents

For large tool yes you are waisting your money, smaller hand tools that you only need once or twice are ok.

I also have the Hobart Handler 140. Good welder for just about anything. Go ahead and invest in the mixed gas tank and copper wire if you want ggood clean welds that grind easy. You can get it at Tractor Supply for about $450.
