I have a 51 Chevy 3100 with the original 216 Babbet Banger and 3 on the tree.
I am preparing to replace the clutch assembly (clutch kit). The parts store computer shows 2 sizes of Disk/Pressure plate assemblies a 9" and a 11". I am pre-ordering before disassembly and I do not know what size my truck currently has installed? Are the 9 and 11" assemblies interchangable with no problem bolting up to the standard stock 216 flywheel?

If its a pickup, all it needs is a 9" clutch and that's probably what's in it now. GMC uses a different flywheel for a larger clutch. Chev probably does too.

When replaceing a clutch you need to pull it first. There are many options. The 9 & 11 will not interchange on the same flywheel.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

Yes a 1951 Chevy 3100 is a pickup.......
Thanks for the 9" vs 11" vs flywheel application information.

If you pull the flywheel cover you can tell a 11" from a 9". The 11" pressure plate comes to the outer edge of the flywheel, the 9" is in about 1".
