I need the fronts and the early AD rears 47-53 (for the clutch housing.) | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 2,393 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 2,393 | I have never seen them for a 47-53 unless it was for a later model L6 or V8 conversion. You might have to search someone like Chassis Engineering for something that might work.

They lasted a couple of years and then started disintergrating. My son also used some on his 90 GMC pickup and had the same kind of luck. | | | | Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 1,317 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 1,317 | I got my urethane transmission mounts from Classic Parts of America (Old Chevy Duty). Not a great fan of the urethane mounts but mine have been in for 10K and show no signs of going south. No Urethane front insert available from that vendor.

But since they don't exist, who makes the best rubber mounts? The old mounts are toast. I would pay for the best if the quality is known... | | | | Joined: Mar 2000 Posts: 784 'Bolter | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2000 Posts: 784 | Check out Steel Rubber. They have the best rubber parts for all of your truck. Cost a little more but worth it. George | | |
