Does anyone out there ever put a camaro front suspension under a 1954 chevy pick-up?Are do you know of a web site that shows how to do this.Pictures would be very helpful....

newton - if you go to the tech tips section and go down to axles you will find an article on swaping a monte carlo front in under a 54 - should at least give you an idea.

I just did one on my '52. See the link below. In fact, if you were close, I would loan you my jig. I still haven't disassembled it yet.

What you see is as far as I am. Tomorrow, I pick up the frame from the powdercoater. Hopefully, with all the careful measuring I have done, the new axle is within 1" of the old axle.
