Ok, quick question for the newbcake here, When I bought my 47 3100 1/2 ton, it came with a tired 235 out of a 54 in it, the swap they did was done wih using the 216 front mount and a 216 bellhousing with the stock rear mounts on th bell, I removed it and tossed out the mounts along with breaking the front bolts and the rears, what size bolts would the front mount take to attach it to the front cross member and what size does the rear mounts take, where to buy quality grade 8 bolts for these? any information will help, thanks!!!!

The rear mounts on My 52 were 3/8 x 16 to the bell housing and 7/16 fine thru the cross member ,I will check the front but I think they are 3/8 fine thread , ACE hardware has a full line of bolts here some FLAPS do to , if the front is not 3/8 I will post it latter .

Off the subject a little, but it's interesting what you say about ACE. Ours is the same. I just thought it was the local owner doing it, but maybe it's a company idea. They are certainly better supplied with all kinds of fasteners then any box store around here and priced resonably.

Well the outside bolts are 3/8 and it looks like the inside bolts are 7/16 fine thread .
ACE has a full line of bolts including chrome plated, stainless ,brass , and fasteners .Good source.
