Picked up the '68 C-10 from down the street today. Trailered it to the car wash and got years of crap off of it, from sitting in the brush and under a tree. I am quite happy with what I've got! It belongs to my #2 son. He sold his van after deciding he wanted a pickup, instead! I've already got a 350/700R4 lined up for it to replace the original 327 2bbl/3-speed manual, since the 327 is locked up. We are the third owners! The guy I got it from, got it from a friend in Clovis, NM in 1992 who was going to Japan at that time, and needed to sell. The Clovis guy's dad bought the truck new. It's spent its life in dry eastern NM and central OK, so it is VERY solid with extremely little rust anywhere! It still has its original white paint. This will be a fun truck to do, I think. It already has a five-lug front disc brake setup and a five-lug rear axle; both from a '76 C-10.
