HI guys,roy here in ontario.Just wanted to know if anybody in ontario has had any thing dipped or blasted.Who did you use, were they any good and where are they?

I'm likely a bit too far for you but a guy between Lindsay and Peterborough does a lot of custom blasting. LVH or something like that. They say he's pretty good, does stuff for body shops and restorers too.

There is a place in Brampton that does it. The name is Techno Strip and they used to be called Redi Strip. I had my doors done there and they did a great job. They do small parts and all the way up to complete body shells. They have a website and the phone number is 905 459 6196.

Thanks leo,appreciate the feedback.This car is one i've owned since 1970.I left it at a buddies farm,and the body has started to go.My own fault for leaving it for so long.If there is a self a-- kickin machine out there,let me know so i can give myself a few good ones.

Techno Strip is pretty expensive as they seem to think they have this area covered. I am going to A&A Metal Cleaning in Chatham (I live in Brantford). They are going to bake and pickle my truck although they do not have a tank big enough for the whole cab so they will need to flip it over to do 1/2 at a time. Their price was less than 1/2 that Techno strip quoted to me.

Roy There is a letter in a recent old autos paper saying they had a 63 olds soda blasted in goderich, ont. The company is DFX , he says it got the paint but not the rust , but was happy with the job.
