wondering if I got something screwed up - epoxy primered with a white primer that is billed as an epoxy primer and can also be reduced to be used as a sealer.

I did not reduce as a sealer. Just simply shot the epoxy primer straight onto the old sanded down omaha orange paint. There are areas that did not get full coverage (they appear pink).

I am wondering if the old paint may have reacted to the primer or if it's just bad coverage (white over orange) - anyway to test/tell if I am celar to move forward?

Reds and oranges are notorious for bleed through. I've not used any of the modern sealers so I can't speak with authority but normally a "sealer" needs solid, unbroken coverage to actually seal. Any gaps in coverage allow the under coat to bleed through. The sealers I used in the day couldn't be sanded because you would break the seal by doing so. You need to address the issue before applying a topcoat or the bleed through will continue.

What is the epoxy primer product name?

I used TCP Global's DTM Epoxy Primer/Sealer

I have never used it before as a primer, but did use (white) as a sealer prior to topcoat and thought it had good hiding properties over dark grey primer.

I've also never sprayed over red/orange before, so this truck is a bunch of firsts for me

Truck is going to be light yellow so i do need to halt the bleed through...from sanding and inspection, I do not see any reason to be concerned about adhesion.

I talked with the TCP folks and they suggested that I should have sprayed the white primer heavier and that I could go ahead and spray more coats to get hiding. I was spraying correctly, maybe even a little heavy. I had some light runs/sags, so couldn't really go much heavier.

I didn't fully trust their advice so I decided to follow advice I got to spray a grey primer to ensure hiding and then recoat with the remaining TCP white that I had. I sprayed 2 medium wet coats of ppg shopline epoxy grey primer and that has given the truck full hiding - no noticable bleeding.

I'll block that down with 320 this week and shoot two medium coats of white over the grey. I plan to not sand those last two coats of white and spray sealer and color within the recoat time to finish 'er off next weekend if I get decent weekend weather...
