Guys,
Do any of you have any documentation on putting the inside of the doors back together? No, I don't have the manual.
I got to put all the rubber back in around the vent win as well as those little rivets back. I am not sure how the glass and other stuff goes..

If you can share with me that would be great?

Michael1964 I am sending you a separate e-mail with a word document that I put together with the procedures I used. Let me know if I mess it up and you do not get it.
I found it easier to put together this list as some things could not be completed exactly as the manual said (remember the manual is set up to install one piece only not install everything again.
I am also including a PowerPoint that I started. However I never finished it so it will only get you so far.

Because the PowerPoint is not finished the bad news is that you really will need to get the two shop manuals to do the job (1963 and 1964 supplement).

Rusty, maybe you could put that up so everyone could use it??? I wish I had something when I did mine.......it was trial by error, and it took me some time, and frustration, but it finally came together! Thanks.

Thanks so very much Rusty.. That has helped. I have been looking for my screws to put some of this stuff back together. I got them mixed in with some of ther others.

side note...the best forum I've ever seen was the yamaha vstar forum...they had a very indepth knowledge base developed that had everything thing imagineable from specs to individual mods, to short cuts, how tos, parts, service manuals, it was unbelieveable, took time and everyones input, but it was sure sweet once it got rolling.

frmula505, I have sent them. Be aware that the 60 doors are different than my 64 doors so there may be some differences.

Rusty64, Thanks so so much for the docs. They were a big help. I have pretty much gotten my doors back together. I need to paint my door screws before I can install my door covers but everything else is done..

Do you know if there is any way to rebuild the bottom of my doors? I have a 62 SWB and the bottom of the doors is completely gone! I am considering using the Powermesh and POR15 with their epoxy... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know. Mine were bad so I found some that were workable.
