Hand pushable or need it be pressed into the bushings. I figure the pressing would hamper proper greasing. Also, which direction should the dust cap be turned? Logic seems to place the dome downward rather than upward. Tight enough to not fall out, but loose enough for it to turn with a little muscle.
The dust caps are little frost plugs, same as used in the engine block. The dish goes down with the crown facing up or out. Then take a dull punch and hit the center, this spreads out the cap forming a tight fit in the hole.
