Universal Vintage Tire out of Hershey, PA sells a Tornel 650-16 bias ply tire. Has anyone tried them? Any good? Any other recommendations? And is it ok to go the 650 over 600?

I haven't used them myself, but I saw a set of Tornel 7.50-17's on a 1 ton chevy at a show last summer. I wrote down the info because 17" tires are scarce as hen's teeth. The tires looked great. I believe they are made in Mexico.

They are $78.00 plus 12.95 for the Bias Rubber Stem (tube?)

Here's the url to Universal.

They have a number of selections, but my budget is liking the Tornels. Yes, I think they are made in Mexico. Just wondered if anyone had experience with them or if I should pay the extra for something more familiar.
