For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 2 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 2 | I have a '66 C10 Stepside 283, 3 on the tree. In replacing the front wheel cylinders the large bolt that holds on the left front wheel cylinder broke and I can't find a new or used replacement. I tried LMC truck and Classic Chevrolet parts.com. Both places say they know what I am looking for but no one re-manufactures the bolt since it was only used on the '66. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement bolt? | | | | | Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 36 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 36 | | | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2006 Posts: 8,351 | I seem to recall seeing that Dorman used to make them. Perhaps you might check with your local parts store, like maybe a Napa, they may still have them in old stock.

There is another specialty nut and bolt place. One word name with a huge paper catalog with pictures of each part-for the life of me, I can't remember the name of it at the moment. A quick google search didn't recall it either. Maybe someone else knows? | | | | | Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 3 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 3 | Fastenal.
