Will the box off of a 41-46 chevy truck fit a 1940 chevy? I have a '40 and need a box, and i might be able to get a 41/46. My truck is a 3/4 ton.

probably. There are differences in the 1940 and 1941-46 beds. The main difference is in the tailgate hinges and tailgates. The length and width of the beds are the same. It might be less of a hassle to get a new bed from Mar-k. Mar-k makes quality repop beds right here in the US of A.
