Ok guys need some help...Ecklers, Classic Auto Parts, American Classic Trucks and LMC Truck. All are around the same price for a new oak bed. Which one?? Also, SS Polished or just SS on the strips. What type of varnish? Any helpful tips would be great. Thanks!

Have you tried Mar-K? That's where I got mine from, and I'm very satisfied with their products.

I just finished an oak bed from MAR-K and installed it in my 1966 swb ss. Was very pleased with the results. You can get the wood, strips and all hardware from them. Dont order the wood until you are ready to finish it. Go to their web site. they have a lot of information, parts and refinishing info.

If you are looking to do a show truck, Bruce Horkey is tops. More expensive, but he has neat wood variations. He's generally considered the founder of the aftermarket wood show bed industry starting in 1980.

But, for me with a cruiser, Mar-K is it.

Yep! MAR-K for the kit for sure. I finished mine just like this article in Classic Trucks magazine.
