For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 62 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 62 | My '56 3600 has a set of overload springs mounted to the rear axle directly below the frame. There is some interference with the rear shocks. My FSM does not show these. Were they a factory option? if so are there longer lower shock mounts available? | | | | | Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 62 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Mar 2009 Posts: 62 | FSM=factory service manual thanks for the info, sure looks like I have the aux. set up. but why do they interfere with the shocks? | | |
