Have any of you folks used some of the reproduction Huck brake drums that are available?

My truck is a 1950 halfton and it is not my daily driver.I do not drive very fast when I am behind the wheel, nor do I get into situations where I need to panic stop.

I am not considering a 1951 Bendix brake system upgrade.

I look forward to reading any comments.

Thank you!
Greg

It should be fine if purchased from a reputable retailer. The stuff is pacticaly all the same. It may not be as good as NOS but no reliable co. is going to sell anything that would be dangerous.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.

I bought a 41' Master Cylnder a while back that was made in Argentina,I believe. Works good. No leaks. I think a lot of these repop parts are like that. The tooling was sold to South American countries that still produce these parts today.
