I got a rebuild kit from NAPA, but it didn't come with a power piston spring, or a power piston check ball spring and I'm 90% sure that both of mine have been squished a little.
Does anyone know what the length of the power piston spring is supposed to be for a 54'?
I know that Carbking sells them, but I don't know if they are new, and you have to buy a $50+ rebuild kit before he'll sell you a spring for $8.
The NAPA kit comes with a little football shaped spring, is that the power piston check ball spring? It doesn't look anything like the one I took out.

This info is found at: chevy.oldcarmanualproject.com in the "manuals listed in order of year" section under 1950 "Servicing GM Model 'B' Carburetor". Another way to get springs is to buy old carbs online for parts. Good luck!
