Truck started runnin crappy so I yanked off the carb for a looksee. Turns out the float was full of gas. I had a spare parts carb and swapped out the floats. Truck has never run better. I want to drive across the country, it's runnin so good. cool

Drive across the country....now that's an interesting thought!!!!! I guess if you're featured on the InLiners International site your ride must be pretty well "top of the shelf!" Now if you put that fancy dual manifold on your truck you'll probably have lots of float/carb problems so I've come up with a solution.

Send it to me and I will check it out for a few thousand miles and make sure it functions properly and than I will send it back so you can hang it on the red girl!!!!!!

O.K., so that wasn't quite such a good idea on your end! I'd even pay postage! Still not buying it! Hum... Well, you've got to give a guy credit for trying.....just never give him your manifold/carb setup!!!!!

Glad to hear the girl is running as good as she looks.....those 24 degree mornings must be rough.
It was only 88 here yesterday....makes a guy wonder why a good Floridian would leave such a place to go to the mountains!!!!! Oh well, like I say......experience....(Dave)

 I know what you mean about double the trouble with the dual set up. It's running so good that I would hate to open up the can o worms I know that dual intake is gonna give me. I gotta get the 72 in tip top shape so I can have some down time to work on the 49. Got my headers on the way so I'm getting closer. I may take you up on the offer to tune it for me. grin As for the move to the mountains goes, it's been a good run but I think we are headed back to the SE. Looks like we will be landing in Atlanta this time. Good to be closer to the family anyway. cool
