I have a buddy that is into 1957 Chevy Trucks and along the way is drifting to GMCs. I went to his place last night to see what he was working on. A 1957 GMC 1/2 ton 4x4 NAPCO long bed stepside. That is a BIG truck. and a BIG V8 to boot. What is that thing, not a 283? Now I know the GMCs had a 347 Pontiac V8. He told me all about them and the optional carbs........on and on. This is cool, a new light bulb has come on.

The 322 ended in Buick passenger cars in '56. In '57 the Buicks bumped up to the 364. I wouldn't mind having one of those bellhousings and flywheels. -Brad SOUTHERN FALL GABfestOctober 6 ~ Commerce, Georgia Details here!Never Pee on an Electric Fence. | | |
