So I started the 235 for the first time since I rebuilt it a few years back. Sigh of relief.....it seems to run great, though my carb rebuild might not have been as successful...might order a Holley/Weber setup from Langdon's.
Anyhoo...Oil is seeping from a couple of the headbolts on the driver's side. I ran it until it warmed up, then retorqued all of them, and it still seems to seep out (that's not to mention the oil oozing from the side cover! ).
Is this something to be concerned about? I reused the head bolts, and I'm wondering if I should have replaced them. Where do you get new headbolts, anyway?

Show me a stovebolt six that doesn't leak oil somewhere and I'll show you a stovebolt six that's out of oil. grin I don't know about the head bolts but the side cover leakage is REAL common.
