The Stovebolt Site Forums The Parking Lot '60-'66 Trucks Wiper Motor replacement - Wiring Help

Have a 64 C-10, came with a bad wiper unit. Got a new one, have the harness - but can't find my notes from when i took it out to hook it back up... Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I take it that you don't have an owner's manual or a shop manual or an assembly manual. They all have wiring diagrams in them.

I printed a section and you'd still need a magnifying glass to see it, but without one, you can see the yellow wire goes to fuse panel and the blue wire to the switch. They both connect to the wiper motor.

This is from the assembly manual. You really need the paper that goes with the truck in order to rejuvinate these trucks. Or any vehicle for that matter. That's a big part of the fun of this hobby is tracking down some of that stuff at a swap meet when you only have about 10 bucks left!
