For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 29 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 29 | Hey again everybody..
Hope all is well.
I have another question for you all. I have the builder's plate..if that's what it's called..the paint is worn off of it(I suppose it was silk screened?) .But I can make out what's was on it for the most part and what's stamped next to it. It has...
trim Z61 AE paint 538 AE
I found a website that has the paint option numbers on it for 1965 and they are in the 500s but no 538.
Anyone out there that can decifer this stuff? heh
Thanks..
Marc

Look on this link http://www.tcpglobal.com/aclchip.aspx?image=1964-chevrolettruck-pg01.jpgLook at the 509 color. It was changed to 539 in '65, but still carries the Ditzler code of 12409 through both years. Maybe just a formula change and therefore the number change. | | |
