Hello all,
I have a 67 3/4 ton 2 wheel drive and a 72 1/2 ton 4x4, both are fleetside longbeds. I want to swap the 3/4 ton diffs and driveline to the 1/2 ton 4/4--and vise versa. can this be done easily. I know I will have to find another front diff since it's a 4 wheel drive, but otherwise is it a fairly easy swap? Is the frame the same on the 1/2 and 3/4 ton? What springs do you recommend? My goal is to have a 3/4 ton 4x4. Any and all advise is greatly appreciated. Thanks MM

try a 4x4 site like coloradok5.com This type of swap is covered on a regular basis. Just get a 67-72 4x4 dana 44 front axle and put it in place of the 10 bolt.
